Virtualbox Only Showing 32 Bit

I have created a Windows 10 (64-bit) guest. I installed VirtualBox v6.0.10 in the Windows 10 guest (Windows 10 Pro – v1903 – 64-bit). I am trying to create an Ubuntu (64-bit) guest inside the Windows 10 guest. I only see 32-bit options inside the Windows guest. After several attempts to resolve this, I am still only seeing 32-bit options. Virtualbox only showing 32-bit guests on Windows. Published about 5 years ago. When trying to create a Virtualbox VM recently I was only presented with the option of creating a 32-bit client. After a bit of research it turns out this can be caused by incorrect settings in the BIOS or by a competing Virtual Machine software. Today I want to save you the pain I encountered by showing you how to fix a problem I experienced in VirtualBox. This post is going to be succinct and to the point. Even though my Host OS is a 64-bit version of Windows 8.1, VirtualBox categorically refused to display any 64-bit guest OSes in the Create Virtual Machine dialog box. How to enable Intel VT or AMD-V virtualization in your BIOS

This post describes how to resolve the issue of VirtualBox only showing 32-bit Operating Systems when creating a new Virtual Machine (image below).

Fix #1 - You have the Hyper-V feature enabled on your host computer.

To turn off the Hyper-V feature on Windows 10, click the Start button and type 'features'. This should return 'Turn Windows features on or off'.

From here scroll to the Hyper-V feature and make sure the checkbox is unchecked (see image below). Once you turn off the feature make sure you reboot your computer.

Fix #2 - You need to enable Virtualization in your BIOS.

Follow these steps to enable Intel VT (Virtualization Technology) and AMD-V virtualization. Keep in mind that different motherboards will have different versions of the BIOS or UEFI and there are too many variations for us to show screenshots of all possible options. We will do our best to describe the basic process you need to go through:
Reboot your computer and open the BIOS menu. When the computer is booting up you should see instructions regarding how to open your BIOS. It's usually a done with one of the keys below:
  1. Delete key
